What game was the girl playing on her Vita in #LastOfUsPartII ? I don’t immediately recognize it (may not be a real game, but if I had to guess, I’d assume it is a Naughty Dog title as an easter egg)
I feel so sad for Ellie. She’s had such a traumatic life and, in this moment, she is so completely broken as a person (after confronting/torturing Nora). Excellent acting though, and it breaks you (the player) too—Ellie will just stand there until you press a button to strike. It’s intense.

Just starting “Seattle Day 1”, the second time. First time I played this game, it was such an unexpected twist. The concept of “the enemy” really gets blurred when you play both sides.

This was an impactful scene to me, with Abby realising what her found family is (and that it ain’t the Wolves that took her in). Also that the cycle of revenge killing needs to stop—Yara and especially Lev show her a different path. #LastOfUsPartII
(This scene was after another PTSD flashback of her running through the hospital where her Dad was murdered, but instead of seeing him dead on the floor of the OR as usual, she sees Lev and Yara instead)

Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II
Just remembering back, it’s wild to think that the reason I’m playing The Last of Us at all can be traced back to me wanting a blu-ray player circa 2008.
Back in the day, the PS3 was the best blu-ray player, so I bought a bundle from the Sony store that included Uncharted 1 (another Naughty Dog game). I’d never heard of Uncharted, but ended up really liking it (the first, and subsequently the full series).
So when Naughty Dog released The Last of Us, I was raring to see what they had made. Loved it. Later, when #LastOfUsPartII was announced, and it was revealed Ellie was the protagonist, I was already sold on it (I’m a sucker for story-driven games and strong female protagonists). Now I apparently play it once a year, at least 😅
Perfect gift for Lev: is it because he likes sharks, or, because he’s trans and it’s obviously a mini BLÅHAJ? 🤔
