So my top 5 of the #MESC2024 line-up:

🥇 ERBA' - SIRENA

It's different, brings in a bit of Maltese and sounds good. I'm a bit scared of the live performance, as the girls already seem a bit lacklustre in the video.

🥈 HALEY - TELL ME THAT IT'S OVER

A well-made ballad, Haley seems authentic, even if it's a topic you've heard 1000 times before.

🥉 SARAH BONNICI - LOOP

Really not a creative song, definitely inspired by dance break bops, of recent years, but good for what it is.

4th MATT BLXCK - BANANA

Well, of course this wants to jump on this crazy Cha Cha Cha-type like hype, which we will definitely see more often this year, I can't deny that it's fun, Matt Blxck is just the right guy for it.

5th GRETA TUDE - TOPIC (BLA BLA)

It's "trash" and it knows it, Greta Tude is having fun and that makes it fun. Musically, of course, it's not particularly good and I don't think Malta would reach the final with it either, but that's okay.
