#Day250 of #365HappyDays combined with #3GoodThings again:

1. Learning that this guy - photo - apart from saying “Cheese!” to the camera, has apparently learned a new phrase, used entirely in context. Wanted to watched Sing on #Netflix, Netflix was logged out, he responded “For fuck’s sake.” I should be horrified, but laughed long and hard.

2. Packed and loaded the car #today ahead of trip tomorrow.

3. Spent the evening catching up with Hannah & Mick. It’s been way too long.

To add: Hearing a toddler swear will never not be funny. We’ve all seen the “It’s a fucking goat” video, right?

I neither condone nor encourage it, but it’s still funny AF.

Also, it’s especially funny as I KNOW for certain that he hasn’t picked this up from me. This is pure dad’s doing. Whilst I do swear, and often, I am super careful with words around him, and “Oh goodness” is now a staple in my speech instead of swears.

A tale from the late John Peel's prog.
Mum is reading a book to her toddler. It's just pictures so you can make up a new story every time. Turns to a page with a fox in a garden so mum says 'What's the foxy doing in the garden'. Her comment 'I knew when I heard the words coming out of my mouth that I would reget it, but for how long and how deeply I could not possibly have known'. The childs favourite phrase uttered loud and often with no warning 'What's the foks he doing in the garden'.
@ForgottenHero18 This is superb. 😁
The Boy loves The Gruffalo and his favourite character is the fox, but I’ll admit the first time he said it I nearly keeled over!

I'm laughing here, too, but he can't see or hear me. Though what else can you do, because you know it's going to happen.
