KaitekiApple is batshit insane and greedy. Under either conditions, Kaiteki won't exist by official means on the Apple App Store.
But Kaiteki won't exist on Google Play or Microsoft Store either, since (alleged) requirements to provide private information publicly.

@Kaiteki Even worse is Apple's response to the DMA where they effectively just restructured the app store system in such a way that you can theoretically have an external app store, but not practically, since they charge you up the ass for it

@[email protected] Technically someone can just take the Kaiteki source code and the Flutter SDK, and patch it up and build it themselves.

@[email protected] Of course, there are other people probably able to do all of this. But all the communication with people willing to do so, so far has been pretty slow and there's no close collaboration at this point. So it's not been great.
