Please consider speaking at, volunteering at, or sponsoring my virtual free conference @pancakescon - we run it on a shoestring for the community and this is year five! Really exciting.
We are also looking for a CTF sponsor this year. Please get in touch!

A lot of people are asking me about what donations we accept. Please understand I run this on a shoestring from my house. What we really need to succeed:

~CTFs and Villages (donate your time / lab for a day)
~Small physical prizes from companies - we will send you the addresses of the winners, and restrict geography as you deem fit.
~Small virtual prizes from companies or individuals - if you want to help as an individual for a few bucks, we can give away book Humble Bundles. Our audience is mostly students and junior people.

@hacks4pancakes I would totally volunteer to speak, but i am guessing that it does not involve speaking about making food pancakes or talking about cat bellies. I eagerly await the day that virtual con is announced.
@jared I mean, if you read the CFP, it actually does...
@hacks4pancakes ah, it seems my quest to send cat pictures out into the world while half asleep teaches me that new things. I will admit that I have no idea how conferences work having never gone to or thought about them at all. I did recently but a crepe pan that I love and adore and have made tasty pancakes on. Sadly, cybersecurity is not my area of experience. Yet.
@jared feel free to stream on YouTube if you want! Hopefully we get some cat talks again!
@hacks4pancakes I am very seriously considering. If my social media is a testament to anything, it is how long I can talk about my cats. Even if not, it gives me a great excuse to add more lighting to my room to better illuminate my Black Cat of the Night. Plus, this conversation has caused a mysterious temp crash/lag on my instance that is going to consume my night trying to figure why it is being a big complaining pants.
@hacks4pancakes @pancakescon If I wasn't going to be helping with building the network at OFC this year when your con is happening, I would 100% be there for this.
@Stormgren @pancakescon you can stream on your phone while building a network.
@hacks4pancakes @pancakescon How can we help sponsor?
@JHudson we give away prizes
@hacks4pancakes So cash donations aren't acceptable?
@JHudson If you wanted to do something equivalent to a cash donation we give away humble bundles to students and you could get one (pay what you want) and we can give away the code.
@JHudson you could buy one closer to the event, and send me or any admin in Slack the redemption code to give away.
@hacks4pancakes OK. You do remember you're talking to a Dinosaur, right? Send me an SOP or something. ;)
@hacks4pancakes @pancakescon I would love to speak. I even have a perfect talk doublet.
