It's now 660 emails in this thread ... and most of the patches have now been committed. I think we're down to one last patch.
This means that #Postgres 17 will have pretty powerful logical replication. For high-availability, it's a huge leap forward.
(I would advise not to try and build multi-master replication on top of it, though. There are apparently quite some difficult problems remaining ... and it doesn't scale all that well anyway ...)
