EmilyAfter keeping ants for the last several years, decided to try a different design for a formicarium. This is for Pogonomyrmex occidentalis. I had success with a mix of native Arizona fine sand, and Zoomed clay digging material with a H. arizonensis vivarium and creating stable tunnels.
The tubes along the top and sides are vents. On the bottom is a tray I can inject water for hydration.
