No poop has been detected in the water at this time, but water pressure has dropped low enough to trip the boil advisory in the areas delineated by pink on this map.

#Memphis: The boil water order now encompasses all parts of Shelby County served by #MLGW. There's still been no contamination detected.

Shelby County Fire Station 62, 4647 Forest Hill Irene

Shelby County Fire Station 67, 944 Northaven Drive

@ampersine it is not at all clear from some of the #MLGW alerts, but the reason nothing had been detected is because they don't even start to test until _after_ the problems have been fixed and the pressure returns to >20 PSI. See https://www.mlgw.com/news/News11924bwadcisory just before the last pair of bullet points

It's also funny that the alert comes to us from the future: January 26, 2024 😏

@mcrocker
Uh oh, I hope that's not the Groundwater Groundhog seeing his shadow and telling us to expect a week of boiling. Had enough of that last year!

@ampersine yeah boiling all consumed water gets old fast!
