PSA: it looks like last night the Xcode Cloud default build environment switched to "macOS Sonoma 14.3 RC (23D56)”, for some reason this won't build any visionOS targets for me. I get a "visionOS is not installed" error during archive.

Manually overriding this back to “macOS Sonoma 14.2 (23C64)" got things building correctly again. I suspect this will get resolved, but in the meantime that seems a solid workaround.

@_Davidsmith Xcode Cloud runs on Intel right?

visionOS SDK isn’t supported on Intel as far as I know.

@_Davidsmith Thanks for surfacing this (and sharing a workaround).

I passed along your report to the team which owns this, and they believe the issue has been fixed in an update to that macOS version. If you switch back and still have a problem, feel free to ping me.
