There is no dining car in the train from Copenhagen to Hamburg (which is as documented, nowhere is it claimed there would be one). Had to buy something to eat from the 7-Eleven at the station. #Interrail
@tml When we rode that route in 2001, the train got onto a ferry. Another post this morning says that boat is no longer running. So.... Does this train now take an "end run" around the ferry?
@ObbieZ The ferry has not been used since 2019. The train uses a geographically longer route now but timewise there is no difference. The ferries are still there (between Rødby and Puttgarden) but for cars only. A tunnel is being built there https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fehmarn_Belt_fixed_link, and when it is ready the train between Copenhagen and Hamburg will take less than three hours.
