@Norobiik Yeah, and that's as you exactly say just the major factions somehow existing side by side after long years of civil war & foreign interference, with Hezbollah emerging as an insanely armed force thanks (?) to Iranian intrusion into Lebanon's domestic affairs.
Besides eg Arafat's PLO (ab)using Lebanon as a base for terrorist operations against Israel — until they had to go.
While eg Beirut had once even been called Paris of the Middle East... :🙄
