Joshua McNeill"#Nonpareils" here is #English "#sprinkles". I was only familiar with "sprinkles" and "#jimmies" (in the NE).
In #French, I didn't have a word for sprinkles at all, so I guess it's "nonpareils" or, according to the dictionary, "#vermicelles", but there doesn't seem to be a word in #LouisianaFrench.
(Relatedly, #paintedbuntings are called "#passerins nonpareils" or "#Papes de #Louisiane" in #StandardFrench and simply "Papes" in #Louisiana.)
