another thing, now with @MrmoTarius WIP Paint Tiles. they're fun. they're just fun. plain and simple. hope there's 90 degree lines in the next version so i can make square outlines.

You can use offset layers with the vertical and horizontal lines to put them "between" tiles :)

I think I get what you mean with the offsets, but it is a bit of a hassle, not to mention that going off-grid kinda goes against the spirit of using a tile-map, doesn't it?
If there were tiles like in this picture i drew in 5 seconds, I could do my square outlines and a lot more. Of course, I get that limiting the tools is kinda the point of the tile-map, but I hope something like this could be considered 👍
