@slashdot Man, if only someone would develop a free and open source operating system that can provide hardware life for years after their manufacturers abandoned them.

@slashdot My desktop computer was originally built to run Ubuntu Linux, before I added a discrete graphics card and installed Windows 10 to play games with friends. If I wanted to keep it alive, it would almost certainly return to Ubuntu. Everything has come full circle.
