Shed a tear at the end of Kanon 2006 yesterday. I really loved the sense of reality at all times, I was impressed with Sayuri's severe injury, Ayu's near death experience from falling of a tree and Akiko's involvement in a car accident. It just shows you how things can change in an instant, and makes you care about a person so much more. It also sort of gives the message that you can't take people for granted, you must enjoy the time around them as best as possible.

I got a little emotional after Nayuki saying that miracles sometimes happen, after all that happened to Yuuichi.
