@amarchivepub WAMU never ran this show. At one point, Harry Shearer wrote an angry op-ed that the Washington Post ran in the Sunday Outlook Section. In it, Shearer said really harsh things about Washington, WAMU, & about the Capitol Steps political satire troupe. At the time the op-ed ran, I was living in Washington, DC, I was working at WAMU, and I was performing as a member of The Capitol Steps. I hope you’ll excuse me for not jumping on the offer to listen to 2,000 of this.
