AsHpersonI've just installed Graphene OS on my Pixel 7. I feel like I've never had a more "pixel" or "material" experience before. The control I have over my phone without needing root is amazing.
I feel like this is my first big step to de-googling my life and it feels great!
Using a scaled app store system. F-droid wherever possible, then aurora app store for all free apps, then the sandboxed play store for purchased apps or free apps with purchased unlocked that needs to check for a tie to my G acct.
