@cazabon These smart TVs are such a scam. You really have to dig around now to find a #TV that isn’t a #surveillance machine. Most people don’t seem to know or don’t care that these things are listening to us, etc. I might have to buy a big monitor next time my old TV dies to protect my #privacy.

I will never, ever connect my TV to the internet. If it has no network access, it can't phone home.

When the manufacturers start shipping them with builtin LTE modems and no way to disable them, then it's pitchforks-and-torches time.
