For the number of people in the grand hall, it was surprisingly quiet. Little pockets of murmuring, the quiet clink of glasses against tables, ice against glass; it was quiet, but comfortably so. They all were just waiting, and were content to do so for now.

At least, until Present Mic's voice rang out over the sound system, disrupting the peace they'd all managed to make.

From his corner with Eri, Aizawa just scowled at his husband, even as their daughter threw some of the last few petals she had left into the air, snickering as they stuck to his hair. She'd never been bothered by how loud her Papa could be, instead taking an almost comfort in how easy it was to find him. At least one of them was fine with it.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and all the lovely people in between! We're sorry we kept you all waiting, there was an..."

He paused, clearing his throat as he tried to find the best way to phrase what was to come next. "A wardrobe malfunction that had to be addressed before we could proceed. But now, if you could please clear the dance floor, I'm happy to present, for the first dance of the rest of their lives, our lovely grooms!"

The soft song that began was almost drowned out by the cheering as Katsuki and Izuku, hand in hand, walked out in the floor.

Though, really, anything short of a villain attack wouldn't have registered to them, their hands unable to leave the other as they shifted, Izuku resting his hand on Katsuki's should, Katsuki's on his waist, close together as the began to sway with the song. Not a real dance, no; neither of them had had the time to try and learn, but right then and there it didn't matter. Their slow sway as the music played around them was more than enough.

It also gave everyone time to figure out exactly what Mic had meant, eyes rolling as they took in Katsuki's lost shirt buttons, the wrinkles in Izuku's pants, the well kissed skin that showed over his collar, the light scratches that ran down Katsuki's forearms. 'Wardrobe malfunction' indeed, and if they got any worse Mitsuki herself was more than willing to try and beat some decency back into them.

Not that she actually thought it would work: if shaming and, when that had failed, trying to beat some self awareness into her son hadn't worked when it came to Izuku, nothing ever would.

The smile on Katsuki's face, though, as he stared down at his husband was worth it all. All of the make out sessions and things she'd bleached from her brain she'd walked in on, all of the arguments and self-doubt and tears, every single low where she was going to finally convince Inko to help strangle them

themselves. All of it was worth it right here, right now, to see them that happy.

To them, it was worth more.

"You look like a nerd," Katsuki said quietly, leaning down to press a kiss against Izuku's wild mane. His curls had been better for the actual ceremony, still soft and poofy and looking like the top of a tree, but at least a tree under control. Pinned back from his face, styled and forced into place with more bottles of hairspray than he wanted to try and count, Mina working and

crunching and styling his hair until it was some level of professional mess.

That had lasted all of three minutes after they'd been left alone to change for the reception, because Katsuki would happily lose a hand before he stopped carding it through Izuku's hair when they kissed. The cute little flower pins lost somewhere, all of the work melted off as Katsuki played and twisted and pulled. To get better angles to kiss him, to pull him close, to just sink a part of him into something of his

husbands when their time was limited and people were waiting.

They hadn't succeeded, had had Kirishima and Iida yelling at their door for them when the five minute outfit change had stretched out to twenty, but neither of them cared.

"I always look like a nerd, Kacchan," Izuku replied with a smile, his head leaving where it had temporarily rested on Katsuki's chest to smile up at him. At his husband.

"I know. I love it. My own personal nerd."

Katsuki leaned down, pressing his lips gently against Izuku's, soft and sweet with the reminder that they were being watched. There was time later for more.

They had the rest of their lives.

"Now that we're here," Katsuki said softly as he pulled away, lightly rubbing their noses together in a bunny kiss, "I'm not planning on letting you go. You're stuck with me."

"Good." Izuku laid his head back down, eyes half closed as they swayed together to the song, staring at the matching bands that

mow adorned their hands. "I'm not going anywhere, Kacchan. So don't let go. I won't either."

In their own world, neither of them noticed as the song ended, another began, their guests trickling onto the dance floor around them. For them, it didn't matter, though soon enough the dance would end and they would have to go on, greeting their guests, cutting the cake, dinner and speeches and watching as everyone around them celebrated.

But for now, they just held onto each other, and didn't let go.
