@WillRobinson They are indeed (welcome and safe here), but no I will not participate in chain mail requests, and was hoping Mastodon was one up on Facebook and Twitter with those banal requests. Like reposting a meme proves I care (enough to pollute all my friends screens with endless messages about what I'm up to).

@WillRobinson I dont think this is the right sentiment despite the good intentions. We should strive for implicit inclusion not explicit. Trasgender people should be accepted as a de facto not through some signal.
