I'm looking for a company / individual that can repair an RTX3080Ti that was the victim of a waterloop springing a leak.
The card has two charred / missing pins on the cardedge, but LOOKS otherwise okay.

A company in Czechia was NOT able to fix it, but I honestly think it was just beyond their capabilities.

Does anyone have ANY tips or suggestions?

@Dozer I suggestion you contact this guy https://www.consolefix.shop He streams on twitch and has a youtube over here https://www.youtube.com/@TheCod3r/videos while I haven't seen him fix GPUs, I think it's worth a try because he is really good at what he is doing.

@daniel_collin good thinking I'll shoot him an email
@Dozer Did you manage to get this sorted?
@daniel_collin Haven't had the time to ship it yet, but I contacted KrisFix in Germany, and they said they would give it a shot atleast.
@Dozer KrisFix in Germany can also often do magic on cards.
@jacobscharmberg Aha! KrisFix seems to specialize on gpus, so that seems like the best option for sure.
@Dozer charred pins means something was shorting, badly. and the fact you aren't now homeless means the short was stopped by something... water damage is never good, but this sounds just beyond repair, who knows what sort of magic smoke was let out

@gob Yeah, it was watercooling that got a leak, and the liquid ran into the pci-e slot and thus shorted the card.

I'm up for giving it a chance though, since the card is quite good, still.

@Dozer but you already did that, you're now considering spending another round of shipping and paying for someone else's time... what did the first shop say ? what leads you believe their competency was lacking ?

@gob First of all, they lied to me, from the start.
"yes, we repair all kinds of gpu's from all over the world"

- They had never received a package from outside the country, and the card was stuck in customs for over a month because they had a lot of documents to sign.

"The technician cannot repair it"

- Could not explain why, what they tested or anything else.

So... Yes, I think they were lacking in the competency department ;)
