YIL there's this command shuf that will give you random lines from a text file, so I wrote a script to pull the last three headlines from The Hacker News, NPR, and the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog and any local weather advisories, dump them into a file once an hour, and I shuf those for headlines in my dwm status bar once a minute (when the clock updates).

I think I'm going to pull the SANS ISC podcast show notes and the latest regional quakes, too.
