It was horrifying to hear that #Covid19 has delayed surgery times so much that people are waiting to get help as long as 3+ years - and still hospitals are extremely against sending those suffering people to private practices (like they should BY LAW).

I feel like the #MedicalSystem lacks empathy entirely. Doctors keep getting sick from covid, thibgs get delayed even more, they dont #MaskUp AND refuse to help people who in result have severe chronic pains year after year.

This specific revelation was about hip surgeries - which is necessary surgery for so, so many. Without it they can lose their ability to work, exercise to stay healthy, and may even develop dependance of painkillers just to keep going.

Though, All surgeries are lacking behind because of lack of care. Lack of doctors and nurses. And yet...they wont protect themselves or their patients.
It is extremely conserning.
