Physicians’ Refusal to Wear Masks to Protect Vulnerable Patients

This Viewpoint discusses why clinician masking is still important for patients who are immunocompromised or disabled.

@maggiemaybe

There is no dilemma. It is unethical for physicians not to mask. Patients shouldn't have to ask.
@carlos I hate it, I had a doctors office cancel an appointment of mine awhile back because there was a spot in the online booking system where I could make requests so I requested that they wear a mask because they were going to have to look up my nose so I would have to lower mine. I’m glad they canceled it since they want to spread disease, but it was disgusting and I complained to the Hospital system about it.
