Flat tires have been impacting my riding a lot more than I'd like recently. There is so much glass (mostly pieces of car due to break-ins and pieces of bottles) in the lanes. I'm considering switching tires, adding liners, or maybe even adding sealant.

Q5. How do you (or would you) prevent flat tires from happening?

@ascentale On my road bike I haven't had a flat since I switched to conti gatorskins. On the fat tire ebike I was averaging a flat every 800 miles on the drive wheel, until I installed tannus armor on that wheel. Tannus armor is a semi-rigid layer of foam up to an inch thick shaped to match the inside walls of your tire. Costs as much as the bloody tire itself, but works brilliantly. You may need to buy a smaller tube (eg. 3x26 inch instead of 4x26), check their website. You can also move the armor to a new tire when the old one needs replacing.

@artemesia #BikeNite A5: Thanks! I neither was aware of Conti's #Gatorskin series nor of #Tannus (well, not sure, might have forgotten about them) and all their products: https://tannus.com/homepage/

They even sport a #Brompton in a picture on their home page. Those red solid tires look hot!
