@terjefjelde Yes, though quite versatile. I use the cross fade feature all the time. Sul pont to flautando is a favorite. If you want chamber/solo sounds of strings, check out the Untamed series from Westwood. https://www.westwoodinstruments.com/instruments/solostringsuntamed/

@muz4now Thanks! Untamed seems altogether too... wild for my purposes. I need something with a more basic, bread 'n' butter approach.

I looked at 8Dio's Studio Strings, which is on sale, but it doesn't seem miles away from Session Strings in Komplete, which I sometimes use now. Neither of these will do in a standalone context, though. But I'll bide my time, I'm in no hurry 😀

@terjefjelde I’ve used the Venice Modern standalone (with soloists from other libraries) such as at least one movement of Requiem For A Stranger. I have the 8Dio, but every time I’ve tried to use it, it has glitched, so I go back to the tried and true.
