@altstore 🤨 was just trying to switch altserver to a new windows vm (made specifically for this purpose), and it doesn't want to reinstall altstore on my phone. i did this exact thing a month ago, then switched distros (and regretted not putting the vm on my $HOME). this error makes it sound like something went wrong on altserver's side.

this kind of thing is why i don't use windows 🤪

i tried it again today and it went through. but i also just discovered sidestore and it supposedly doesn’t need a connection to a computer after the initial install, so i’ll probably see if i can get that going instead. not having to boot up a windows vm once a week is enticing ;)

sidestore is all set up now and… yep will be using this from now on. i was able to add a custom source and get a version of spotify/spotilife which is not only much more recent than what i had before, it also has sposify compiled into it too! game-changing.
