@danslerush I find it somewhat misleading that there a lot of protocols beides TCP and UDP. There should actually be two categories: TCP based and UDP based protocols.
@0xD34DF15h Yes, it could be a little misleading but what I like most with this diagram it's the big picture, the fact that we can easily understand how it works despite some "approximations"

There is no such thing as an UDP Connection. Also this makes it seem like QUIC is not maintaining packet order. And SMTP just...exists??

I get that you can't fit everything into one infographic but that's why we teach whole university courses about this to explain the reasoning behind each protocol and the layering approach etc.
