Apple dev 2FA question. My dev account is different than my consumer account which all of my devices are attached to.

So to download Xcode beta I get a text sent to my phone - I can’t access this number while traveling. Is there a 2FA alternative that I could access?

@dimsumthinking I’ve got the same setup. In the past, I’ve been able to add my dev account as another iCloud account in System Settings -> Internet Accounts. Then my Mac is a trusted device and gets all the 2FA popups. You can disable all the services on the secondary iCloud account so it doesn’t show up anywhere else on your Mac.

@dimsumthinking Oh, and you can do the same on your phone to get 2FA popups over the data network instead of SMS.
