1,3 and 4 I should think π«€π€·ββοΈ
To be more specific, Trump is uninterested in the result of the trial and instead plans to use the publicity to energize his base, win the election, and pardon himself.
@JamesGleick @ErikJonker are you assuming that the televising of the trial will be in any way uniform? That seems brave.
You know Fox etc will show Trump's grandstanding and outbursts but will not air any of the evidence and testimony against him. It would be exactly what he wants.
I assume if it's televised his team will record it. Afterwards he'll play chosen clips to support a narrative he'll create to "prove" he's been targeted and victimised. He'll weaponise the footage.
So you think it should be televised then?
I think that would be playing with fire myself, but what do I know π€·π»ββοΈ
@JamesGleick Suggestion for another poll:
Why should we not trust an ex-official constantly inciting crimes?

@JamesGleick if it's accepted, he'll work the public, his base, and victimize himself on tv to incite another revolt when he loses the case. If it's refused, he'll claim they don't want the truth out for all to see, and he'll victimize himself on social media to incite another revolt.
Option 4 was the closest, so i voted that.

He has realized it's easier to fundraise off his stunts if they're on video.
