The Business and Management Program at Wheaton College (MA) invites applicants for the Diana Davis Spencer Endowed Professorship of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the Professor of the Practice or Assistant Professor. We are searching for two positions, a Professor of Practice and a tenure track faculty at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.Successful candidates will teach courses at the undergraduate level including Social Entrepreneurship, Fundamentals of Business (our introductory course where students design and run a business), a First Year Experience course related to social innovation, and other courses which support the academic programs in the Business and Management department.These positions will be charged with developing a minor in entrepreneurship. The possibility exists to teach a course at the graduate level. Both candidates will also be engaged with co-curricular programming and initiatives related to entrepreneurship that occur throughout the academic year.As a faculty member in the Business and Management department at Wheaton College, successful candidates are expected to collaborate with members of the faculty on curriculum development and improvement and to contribute to the college through service. A collaborative approach to program planning and active engagement with the department are important.The Business and Management Program (Business & Mgmt Program) consists of nine full-time faculty in a diverse range of specialty areas including Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship.
