Got my booster!
For #Covid19 and the #flu both.
One in each arm...

Not complaining or anything, always better than the alternative. Still, doing anything requiring my soon-to-be sore heavy arms next day will be extra challenging.

Doing some errands now and are hoping I will be back before my body refuses to carry groceries. 💪🏼

#GetBoosted #GetVaxed

Day was okay so far, but now since an hour or so the symptoms are slowly kicking in. That's going to be a rough night, not being able to lay on either arm and having chills. xD
Last times I got my vaccine chills only lasted one day or so though, two at max, so it shouldn't stay for long.
@Sirablopp I hope the effects will fade away quickly.
Kurai tried the same and ... will not get both shots together again next year ^.^'

@ghostbear2k Thanks. :) Last times I also got my shots separated but I did this on purpose, so I could report my side effects reliably, via this special symptom report app. This year that's not a thing anymore, so I thought I'd do this all at once, so I can have a few shitty days for both and then be done with it.... I have regrets. xD

At least one of the arms seems to be okay-ish or calmed down quickly at least, so after a while I could sleep on the side a little as well, just not on the usual side.

@Sirablopp I usually can survive the flu shot without much symptoms.
Covid shot knocks me down for a day.
So my thought was "I need one day for the covid shot, none for the flu... but if I get both combined, maybe it knocks me out for 2 days" and I stayed away from it

@Sirablopp @ghostbear2k Hadn't any issue with the Influenza arm... Covid Arm started hurting the same day... and lasted a few days.

First symptoms started the same day (usually I got em on the next day) and thought 'okay maybe it's faster this year...' yeah... faster starting longer lasting ^.^'

startet with not feeling well... then Influenza symptoms startet the next day. Fewer, shiver, tiredness.

And then it got worse... nausea.

Got the shot Saturday around noon, and took Monday off (called in sick), Tuesday was still feeling a bit ill...

@Sirablopp @ghostbear2k but the good thing is, you know why and you know it doesn't last for a week or two... like the real thing.

So take it easy and get well soon

@Kuraiko @Sirablopp But it's interesting that you got nausea and stuff as well.
It's a well know effect of the vaccine, but so far neither you or me had experienced it.
And with the new XBB1.5 shot, we both got it.

(And before anybody starting thinking that: no it doesn't rank up any negatives towards the vaccine for me, mind you. It's a well known, well documented effect, aside from the typical "flu" symptoms.
But it was interesting that effects did change over the course of several vaccinations)

@ghostbear2k @Sirablopp so it's from the Covid shot? I thought it was from the Influenza or the combination of both ^.^"

Never had it before from any of the covid shots :o

@Kuraiko @Sirablopp It's listed as a common effect after a covid shot, yes.
One of my coworkers had it a few times already, while I so far only had flu symptoms and splitting heachaches.
This one seems to have affected my stomach as well.
@ghostbear2k @Kuraiko Well, I got both at once, so it's hard to tell which is which. However, in the past the flu shot mostly made me a little dizzy and gave me a sore arm. Covid shots are the stuff that really hit me with the annoying stuff. Shivers at day one are common for me, thankfully that fades fast. Additionally extreme tiredness (extra fueled ofc because with a sore arm and shivers you don't necessarily sleep well), headache and all that stuff. And of course also a sore and heavy arm, though I don't remember which arm got which this time, so no clue if the sore-er arm is from Covid or the flu. Could actually be the flu one, would be consistent.
