Pokémon Advanced Waps!

Released around 2005 by Panini, they were available to buy in packets, containing 2 regular Waps and one Laser Wap (shiny). In total there were 160 to collect.

They could be played with, by building a tower of Waps, where other players could take turns using their own Waps to knock it down.

I bought them a couple of months ago from a Retro games shop with 149 of them in total inside their box, which included some duplicates. I shall have to hunt down the remaining ones to finish the collection.

It's unfortunate that the product isn't very well documented online, I hope this will change in the future!

@johto kind of like pogs then?
@fireynis similar! Except these were all made of plastic, and pogs were cardboard and some were plastic. Maybe this was an attempt to resurrect them?
@johto looks awesome, and making them plastic was probably a good call. Many a pog collection was ruined on a rainy day
@johto Aw man that’s brought back memories! I had half forgotten about these things 🙂
@Tomisme Glad to hear! I try my best to share things like this, and I've been trying to buy some of the more obscure Pokémon items that don't get seen very often.
