So… been listening to this awesome book which I was LOVING, & then it started to get slow & the info was stuff I already knew

Decided to look into the author & 1 of them turns out is a Korean-American Dr & I thought, super, how cool, 🖤🖤it, finally a cool Korean:) Turned out she also writes YA & I’m like… hmmmm ok. Not my thing, but whatever

Went to Insta & she IS adorable truly, BUT appears she stopped😷sometime at some point & there’s photos of her at book signings, Comic-Con etc sans🚫mask🤦🏻‍♀️

And now I’m disappointed; Girl, did you even read your own book?!?! I don’t understand? You are a medical doctor who wrote a TOME on infectious disease throughout history. You of all people should know you should be wearing a mask..

I’m going to buy the book as a hard copy because it really is quite good, but putting it down & adding it to my pile of unfinished to pull an #EdwardGorey some day, probably years from today

The doctor who wrote a book on the history of infectious disease doesn’t get it but the fashion designer obsessed with making the perfect clothes does; we’re living in the upside down🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️💔

Listened to most of #PatientZero & decided I needed a hard copy of this book & it’s TRULY lovely

I’m still disappointed in #LydiaKang for her 🚫😷 #postPandemic lifestyle but this book is still really remarkable

If I needed to buy gifts for children & adults alike, this would be the one. #keepCalmAndCarryOn by Andrews McMeel Publishing is a good under $10 gift too & is also one of my permanent coffee table trinkets #holidayGift

There’s a lot we can learn from the #cholera epidemic in relation to #sarscov2 #sars2 #covid yet we don’t & repeat the similar foolishness #airborneVirus
