philosodad@georgetakei we need three amendments to the constitution. 1: bodily autonomy-the peoples right to abortion, gender affirming care, and marital/sexual choice. 2. Freedom of conscience: affirm freedom FROM religious interference. 3. Term limits for SCOTUS. I say 3 but of course it could be 1 or 6, but those are the freedoms and reform that would help. Oh, and a child’s bill of rights (no corporal punishment, the right to medical care, food, education, etc)

Here in Germany, where an iron curtain inhibited nearly half of the country from traveling for 28 years, we always thought of the US as a beacon of freedom where every woman and man can roam around as she or he pleases. Ironically when we managed to tore down that wall the beacon of freedom is starting to erect one at its home.

We women will not forget how fast they turned on us post-Roe. How suddenly the tried to snatch up our rights. So now they think they will convince us of how reasonable they really are. But here's the issue. None of their decisions will fly with us. They haven't figured out that it's our bodies they're talking about no matter the number of weeks.
