I have grown quite fond of @obsidian but there is one tool I am missing and cannot seem to find: the ability to link from one note to a specific piece of text in another note (ie. not just the note itself). Or, even the ability to link to a second, third, or fourth level heading inside a long note.

Am I missing something; is there in fact an easy way to do this that I’m not seeing? Or perhaps a community plugin I haven’t stumbled across yet?

@fgraver @obsidian I don't think you can do this out of the box, but I'm guessing that someone could write a plug in, or maybe has already?
@thesiswhisperer @fgraver @obsidian There is a way to link to a block of text.
@nitin @fgraver @obsidian interested to know how?

@fgraver

If I'm not understanding let me know, but if I'm reading right, you can link to headings using a #, like [[link#heading]] and they can be any level heading.

Just tested in restricted mode and it worked on any level heading.

Linking text to text sounds interesting! I haven't seen that yet.
