Elon Musk’s new “Not-a-Bot” program is starting in New Zealand and the Philippines. It charges new users $1 per year and requires phone verification to post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

@rodhilton Kind of makes me glad they suspended my other ID verified account now. I made another one so that I could follow some accounts, but I'm not throwing any more money at it.

@rodhilton bet he’d be like Trump: continue taking $ whenever he felt like it without permission, amounts without permission, until the banks get involved and you get a new credit card. Also he’d probably sell your info.
Used to be we were going to buy a Tesla. No way in hell now. I reckon when Tesla and Musk go down he’ll use their remote systems to brick all their cars.
