Q7: When the Titan escaped Daystrom station, it went to warp while still very close to the station. Does that violate previous lore that requires a ship to maintain a warp bubble which would have messed withe station? @kcarr2015 #StarTrekHour

A7: Don't get me wrong, it looked REALLY cool...

...but people get transported to planets from as far away as orbit. I can't even tell why any of those Star Fleet ships are so damn close to Daystrom Station to begin with!

THIS screen shot is from when #Worf, Riker, and Raffi teleport in from the Titan, so I kinda accidentally confused the scenario in the original question (my bad).

The Star Fleet ships were using Transport Inhibitors at the time, so the Titan couldn't pull the away team out when they escaped.

Later, there is zero explanation given for why the Titan goes in close during the extraction. Maybe to bypass Transport Inhibitors? 🤷‍♂️

There is one line #Picard gave over comms before arriving for the rescue. It's something like, "We're going to cloak near the station to avoid Star Fleet detection." Not sure exactly what it means - maybe even though the Titan is cloaked, they needed to use the proximity of Daystrom station to mask its radiation trail (the one referenced in the #StarTrekVI finale)?
