What's everyone watching?

I feel like my watching is all over the place right now.

Watch Party Shows (no binging)
- Alchemy of Souls 6/20 eps: beautiful costuming, great story
- Marvelous Women 12/35 eps: interesting story about silk weaving, cool hair ornaments

---------------------------
- Another Miss Oh 17/18 eps: hard to explain the hold this has on me - I will try when I review
- Cheese in the Trap 9/16 eps: so scared of what the ending might bring that it's taking me forever
- Happiness 3/12 eps: (rewatch) SO GOOD
- Lovers of the Red Sky 9/16 eps: excellent supernatural historical
- The Uncanny Counter 8/16 eps: good, nice to return to it for something different
- When the Camellia Blooms 16/20 eps: murder mystery romance - very good

- Destined with You 16/16 eps: Finished today. One of the best. Sad it's over.

Just finished The Devil Judge, fun to watch if you don't think about it, but falls apart if you do. Don't really like those "morals are a weakness" stories.

Currently watching Crash Course in Romance. Haven't been bored with it, but neither has had any excellent scenes.

All time favourites are SKY Castle, It's Okay to Not Be Okay (although some people understandably can not stomach the female main), Search WWW and Start Up.

Cheese in the trap I did not like, it started very uncomfortable and didn't get better for me.
Unlike Misaeng: Incomplete Life, which I hesitated to continue after the miserable first few episodes, but it did get better for the characters and for me.

@Walop

I agree with your assessment on Crash Course (I liked the kids’ stories better than the adults, but it was all good)

Haven’t seen Devil Judge yet.

I have not seen or read about SKY Castle - I will look at that. Loved It’s Okay, Search WWW & Startup too.

I just finished episode 13 & I just can’t relax with this one - it seems like something is off all the time.

I will also have to look up Misaeng. Haven’t heard of that one.

Thanks!!

Yim Siwan says that his character in Misaeng is his favorite role. I live too much in vague impending doom office drama in real life to have enjoyed Misaeng myself.

@jillithd @Walop

I work remotely for myself, so any office drama I have is all my own fault.

I might enjoy it!

For me: I wasn't sold on #DevilJudge but others might like it. #SKYCastle has some angst and shaking your head moments.#Misaeng is good.

Another drama that I think is nice is #It'sOkayThat'sLove with Gong Hyo Jin and Jo In Sung. The writer is behind #Live, #OurBlues, #DearMyFriends and several other really lovely and touching dramas. Dear My Friends is interesting in that it's focus is primarily on a group of 50/60+ friends.

@whoosh @Walop Definitely give Misaeng a try for something different and unique. Once you get through the first couple episodes (which make you wonder why you ever decided to watch it) it becomes a compelling watch. It’s more “slice of life” than anything else (definitely not comedy, romance, or light and fluffy). I’m laughing as I re-read my description because I sure don’t make it sound very appealing- but it is a quite excellent (albeit rather dark) series.
