Another Miss Oh
(2016 - Netflix [leaving soon], 18 1:10 eps)

The writing for this show is excellent - not in the savor-that-line way - but in the story-telling. There is a crazy plot & crazy characters, but the acting & the writing make it work. A mistaken identity that destroys lives, with a touch of fantasy.

I thought there could be no way to resolve the initial conflict, but the writers pulled it off & made me feel all the feelings for multiple characters.

The message is to live through love & not fear, make choices you won't regret, and commit fully to your desires. We see this through work, family, & couple relationships.

I watched because it’s leaving Netflix. Then I kept thinking the situation couldn’t get worse, but it did. Then how would the ML ever be redeemed. By then, I was attached to the characters.

See the reply to this message for more info.

Another Miss Oh

Two women, both named Oh Hae Young, find themselves constantly mixed up in each other’s lives because of their shared name. From confusion over boys...

Comment on “Another Miss Oh” kDrama:

The 2 FLs drove me crazy with their behavior at various times, but in the last episode, I came to appreciate their characters.

The older sister character could have seemed cartoonish, but Ye Ji Won acted so beautifully that I completely sympathized with her.

Nam Ki Ae & Kim Mi Kyung (2 of my favorite moms) have enough room to get some character growth as mothers & they both were amazing.

If you watch, pay attention to the sound. The ML is the CEO of a sound design company & that is reflected in the show. I may go back to listen because I didn't realize how important the sound was until about 1/2 way through.

Also, notice the singer on the billboards. He is only briefly on screen but is a point in another character's redemption.
