@jennycohn If you are interested in how long Republicans have been doing this, around 2002 Republicans chased the Broward County Elections officer claiming fiscal malfeasance in a three or four million dollar budget. The next Republican in that office then spent 15 million dollars on electronic voting machines. The first or second generation machines were obsolete by 2010 to 2012, with concerns about manipulation vulnerabilities.
