God I hate #FICO scores and their silly formulations. Paid off my car and house only to be penalized for doing so. Their excuse is that any 'closed account' diminishes one's ability to prove you can pay a debt regularly.

The enslavement of debt is their gospel and, I gotta say, is something we're now schooled to buy into.

The #indebtedness cycle is disgusting and I'm so done with it all!

@MKSinSA I agree. It's a scam. Carrying debt creates anxiety. I feel like it also keeps people tied to jobs and employers when it's past time to move on.

@MKSinSA Pretty much. My biggest criticism of healthcare policy is that it is not healthcare in this country, it's health insurance. Before ACA, businesses were offering health insurance to encourage workers with known talent to stay put. So, it was the easiest way to increase the insured and increase those with access. Side-effects of business having that much more power were not considered.

@ldmay65 @MKSinSA I laugh every time that a conservative talks about those inmigrantes coming for your health insurance.
I guess that their voters are in Canada.
