Politicians criticised for 'toxic' language as religious and transgender hate crimes increase

Figures show almost 9,400 religious hate crimes were recorded in England and Wales year-on year - a rise of 9% - while transgender hate crimes have increased by 11% to 4,732.

#Brexit set the tone for religious and racist hate crime, and now the #Tories are trying to take us back to the 1960s on #transgender issues.

What we need now is a save point in early 2015 or, failing that, a general election.
