Foosty Puddin 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A couple of drams left of this wonderful blended malt should just about see me through #FRAVITA match.

Thompson Bros SRV 5, 8 y/o 48.5%, NCF, NC. Fresh green apples, citrus and floral notes. Comes in strong and punchy - first taste would have you thinking that it's 58% and not 48%. Waxy mouthful with more fruit - bananas, gooseberries, lemon zest and just the merest hint of peat. An absolute belter and astonishing value at just around £31!

@djl I have another of theirs that’s basically MacAllan 12 with homeopathic drops of Grouse, and it’s similarly a bargain. They seem to be doing good things there!

@simonvarwell SRV5 is my favourite blended malt. I've also heard great things about their 6 y/o blended Scotch - also fantastic value at £32.
