That was Gene's 1st movie. It was a very good movie. A lot of good songs. Very patriotic. There's something so evocative about b&w. Although set during WWI, it was made made during WWII. My favorite is Ballin The Jack -- "from Canada to Mexico" 😊💕👏👏
