@erlend It'll be interesting to see over time whether structured, topic-centric UXes foster more of these behaviors, or whether people keep inventing ad hoc ways to meet similar needs using microblog affordances.

And particularly which communities or intellectual traditions tend to gravitate to each mode. (I have my hunches, but zero data to back them up.) 2/2
