There was an interesting #NASA experiment a decade ago where something important was checked by NASA and was found to *be* flat. For a moment, I thought that that was what was being referred to and was confused.
It was the #WMAP.
It looked at the Cosmic Microwave Background and showed that the universe is flat. An important result, because it was thought probable that it was curved, and a flat universe observation eliminates some possible cosmological models that people had.
I didn't immediately think of a flat Earth when looking at the stars in the logo. I thought of a flat universe.
