bad #drivers and their #infrastructure yesterday:
1. #honky for no reason on the 3-lane stretch of #BarburBlvd
2. trucks parked blocking the bike lane on "Better #Naito Forever" 🙄
3. construction junk blocking the bike lane for no reason on NE Multnomah
4. uber/lyft waiting(?) in the same bike lane
5. ~10 drivers on 33rd that badly needed to line up 2x2 at a red light on the next block (Broadway) couldn't stop for a second while I wait to cross 🙄
6. jerk doing 45 on ~36th, a narrow side street
…

2. These trucks completely blocking the too-narrow-for-purpose Naito bikeway.

Choosing to keep this extra Hawthorne Bridge ramp from #Naito is why we couldn't just put two-way car traffic with stop signs on the west side of the pre-existing median and save ourselves four-point-whatever million bucks plus a metric fuckton of traffic problems on SE Hawthorne and Cesar Chavez and every other bridge too. Traffic just gets off the freeway to shortcut through downtown and neighborhoods because we 💸 .

F using these rounded-over "traffic separators" for bikeway protection #PBOT. Drivers who shouldn't be parking trucks here anyway can't be bothered to maneuver between the gaps that were designed to be driven through... this whole design makes me sick.
