Giving mastodon another go after 9 months absence, hoping its less clunky than it was but it still feels clunky & I still feel lost & community-less.
Would love a Blue sky invite if anyone has one. I registered for the invite waiting list months ago but nothing heard.
I miss the old Twitter so much with the #madtwitter community.
Nearly a year since Musk took over & started to break it☹️ 💔

I'll try to remember to come back in couple of weeks,Ty v much, but my memory & brain function not good these days, waiting for memory clinic referral but apparently I'm too stressed for assessment 🙄 but no help re the stress 😡
Still using Twitter but it's not the same, I miss the old comradeship.
I'll give Mastodon a couple of weeks (if I remember to check in 🙄) & see if I get on with it any better this time.

@jayesstoo @flattliner Bluesky is a lot easier than Mastodon. It’s pretty much like Twitter used to be but for some reason there are no gifs and no DMs

No gifs - no problem, I never use them
No DMs - no problem, maybe a good thing

The feed thing is strange.

Also do #hashtags not work?

Otherwise seems fairly intuitive. Good to see so many familiar names 👍
