If you have never seen this 14 minute, #experimental silent #film by #MayaDeren, I encourage you to do so. It's strange, hard to explain, #Jungian, and beautiful in it's own way. It's considered one of the most important films in the history of #cinema and, especially, of #ExperimentalFilm. Some might think it's a little rough around the edges, and it is, but the #creativity carries it. Also, it's total budget was only $275. Amazing.

Was just searching for an older post with a video from me (already deleted) and found yours instead.
I was totally fascinated how timeless this film still is.
That's a thing many directors try, but fail to pull off.

This could easily be a music video from the 80s.

@ClipHead @tuckerteague Well, that last part makes sense because there were a lot of influences from the 30s, 40s, and 50s in 80s alt pop, industrial, and punk.
